The Young Consultant Network

To start at Detecon, the Young Consultant Network (YCN), a worldwide network of young Detecon colleagues, will support you. At a higher level you can become involved in the Consultant Network (CN) and benefit from a large network.

Our mentoring program aims at a needs-oriented, voluntary and intensive support of our consultants by experienced consultants. A mentor will advise you on your personal and professional development. This way you can benefit from each other's experiences.


The Buddy Program was created to help you get started at Detecon. Experienced consultants from the same area and career level support our new employees in "arriving and finding their way around" at Detecon.

Trainings und Weiterbildung

We want our employees to continuously develop and learn from each other. We offer a wide range of training courses. We distinguish between leadership development and skill development - depending on the needs and wishes of the employee.

Personal Development Leader

Your Personal Development Leader (PDL) responsible for your professional and personal development. He takes on the role of your supervisor and supports you in your positioning in the Detecon. You will also receive constant information and feedback from him.

Knowledge Communities

You can get involved and contribute your knowledge to our knowledge communities. Our success is built on our employees and their knowledge. This makes it all the more important for us to share this knowledge in order to learn from each other.

Business Analyst

As a business analyst, you will work with your team on projects and support the development of your practice. You will develop yourself or your consulting competence further and build up a network within Detecon.


As a consultant you are jointly responsible for projects as a stream, sub-project or project manager. You support with offers and client workshops. In addition, you will contribute to the development of your practice and expand your functional and industry-specific expertise.

Senior Consultant

Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant you take over the role of the management of client projects and prepare independent offers. You strengthen your thematic focus and expand your market and sector know-how.

Managing Consultant

Managing Consultant

As a Managing Consultant you lead your own client projects and participate in account teams. As an expert, you lead knowledge initiatives and position yourself as a Detecon Leader.

Associate Partner

Partner-Track: Associate Partner

As an Associate Partner you will assume a responsible role in projects and account management. You have your own client platform and place your thematic focus at Detecon. You also lead disciplinary staff and assume a superior role.

Expert-Track: Topic CTO

Or you position yourself as Topic CTO with highly specialized topic expertise and are used as such in projects. Furthermore, you bring your expertise to bear in offers and client workshops and expand it continuously.

Partner-Track: Partner

As a partner you are responsible for knowledge & people development and the success of projects. You have a strong client platform and are an expert on your core topics. In addition, you take on a superior role and lead disciplinary staff.

Expert-Track: Practice CTO

As Practice CTO you have highly specialized know-how and are an essential knowledge carrier in your field. You are responsible for knowledge projects and are a company-wide recognized expert
