His focus is on strategy and implementation of digital business models as well as the introduction of IT solutions, especially in the manufacturing and automotive supply industries. He holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering and is a member of the NRW Economic Senate and an honorary member of the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Prior to this, he was Vice President of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom, where he was responsible for business customers, with a focus on restructuring and personnel restructuring. Before moving into the telecommunications industry, he worked for international management and technology consultancies as well as for a leading German software manufacturer.
