Your Welcome Guide

The first days, weeks and months of your employment are filled with excitement, a wealth of information and many questions. This welcome guide provides you with the help and support needed for success in your new role.

Onboarding

Detecon welcomes all “New Joiners” across all career levels and functions on a monthly basis. A program is organized to provide you with all the information about our business, the organization and important tools you need for a successful start. You will gain exciting insights into consultants’ normal working days and meet your Buddy, who will help you through your first months at Detecon.

Your Company ID Card

You will receive a company ID card from us to get access in our buildings and to identify yourself. Therefore we need a suitable photo from you. You will find an email template and all the information you need to order such an ID card in an email from HR that you received as part of getting started. Please make sure that you send the email early enough so that you have your company ID card on your first day.

Check your Preparation Status

For your first day of work, you will need the following documents. You can send them to HR@detecon.com or bring them to us during one of your office visits. If you don't see any of us, there is an HR mailbox at reception.

We.Work.New. Shaping the working world of tomorrow

At Detecon, we have been dealing with the topic of NewWork and new forms of (virtual) collaboration for some time now. The result of this is, among other things, newly organized and equipped offices at German locations as well as at subsidiaries, such as in Switzerland.

Joining Detecon

We want to make your start as a consultant as smooth as possible, so you will be embedded in a firm network from the very beginning.

  • Chapter: Each consultant belongs to a chapter (area of expertise/industry) which is your "home port". Each of our chapters is managed by an executive who is responsible for the strategic development of the practice.
  • PDL: You will be assigned to a PDL. As a disciplinary supervisor, this person is primarily responsible for your professional and personal development.
  • Mentor: Your mentor will also focus on your personal and professional development.He/she merely joins you later.  In addition, the mentor*in offers you the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences that are relevant for your work, career or professional development.
  • Buddy: Last but not least, you will meet your buddy during onboarding. This person will accompany you during the first period and will be at your disposal for any questions and often also for an after-work drink.
